  • For the 6th time, the Innovative Retail Lab (IRL) of the German Reseach Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) will hold its annual conference "Innovative Technologien für den Handel - ITH" (Innovatice Technologies in Retail). The conference will be held on July 9th/10th in the Golfhotel in St. Wendel, Saarland. During the event, selected talks will give the opportunity to present and discuss newest developments for retail in research and industry. Coffee breaks and the dinner event will give plenty of room for networking activities.

Since its founding in 2007, the IRL, together with our partner the Globus SB-Warenhaus Holding GmbH & Co. KG, stand for the evaluation of applications in close-to-reality retail scenarios. The ITH is the corner stone for presenting and communicating this work in a vivid way. Besides numerous interesting talks of representatives of industry, retail and research, the Market place of Innovations will be a central point of the conference. Exhibitors and organizers will present their newest developments with selected exhibits.

  • The conference will be held at Hotel Angel’s - am Golfpark - in St. Wendel. The special flair of the thoughtfully restored historic district with its landmarks and cozy alleys around the Wendelsdom distinguish the city of St. Wendel. Please find more information on St. Wendel under http://www.st-wendel.de (German only). The conference hotel is quietly situated inside the Wendelinus-golf course. We have reserved a contingent of rooms for reasonable prices for you. In order to make a reservation, please contact the hotel directly.
